My wife and I had such a good experience with Getting Married in Denmark! From the start, they outlined everything we needed and put us on the right track to gathering documents. They offered us good feedback which ensured that the AFL accepted our marriage application on the first go. We had a short leadtime for our desired wedding date and they worked with us to ensure that we were able to find a city hall that would work. They stayed in constant communication even when everything was all done on their end. They care they put into our application and marriage meant the world to us. Cannot recommend them enough!

Excellent service! We are very grateful for the caring and professional support of the entire Getting Married in Denmark team. We were under time pressure due to my wife's limited Schengen visa, but the GMiD team took us by the hand so that we were able to celebrate our wedding on the beautiful island of Ærø just two months after contacting them. The team is absolutely professional and takes great care of every aspect. We booked the Complete Service and also booked the private town hall on Ærø so that the ceremony could be booked before the marriage was approved and our tight schedule could be met. Me and my new wife are very thankful to GMiD for making our wedding go as smooth as possible.I am from Sweden and my wife from Ukraine. With the help of GMiD, everything went smooth and easy. Yes, it is a lot of money, but seeing as how much you have to do and think about, we would not want to do all the steps on our own and therefore it was worth every penny!The trickiest part is to get the photos of your passports correctly photographed, as it needs to be very visible with every small details and without HDR effects (my wife's iPhone did not work for that), but my Google Pixel made it good enough. After several tries!Do not believe anyone in the comments that says it is a scam. You pay for a service, and you have to do your part. If you cannot fix the documents in the way they need to have it, ofcourse the service is not refundable. So be sure to have a good camera and patience, then all will go well!We applied in February, starting using the service of GMiD and we got married on June 3rd 2025.We are incredibly thankful for the whole team that helped us with our wedding! Amazing people and service!

I'm writing this 3 days after getting back home from our trip to Denmark, where we got married.We found Getting Married in Denmark online and after reading reviews, like this one, we chose them to handle the entire process for us, as it is very bureaucratic, as can be expected.The team was very knowledgable on all the requirements and options available and answered all our many questions.While the process of gathering all relevant documents and photos required to prove our couple-hood was long and tedious, we understand the team is this thorough because they want to assure us, as much as possible, getting the approval to marry without delays. We did want to get married on a specific date, so that was important.Everything worked perfectly. We got the approval, they booked our date for us at Copenhagen City Hall, which was really lovely, and the team there were great, putting us at ease, because we were very nervous.We got our marriage certificates with Apostille very quickly, so everything worked out great.My only issues were with the speed of correspondence, as conversing by email has delays. And it did end up being very pricey for us as it happened that all our requirements necessitated extra services. But that's just us.Thank you, Getting Married in Denmark!
